Diabetic neuropathy is a type of diabetes in which excessive sugar levels in the blood cause
damage to certain nerves. Patients will typically experience the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, difficulty swallowing, and muscle cramps. Patients may also experience a deep seated pain in the extremities, inability to tell the difference between cold and warm temperatures, and an overall feeling of weakness. With judicious use of marijuana, patients may be able to manage the nausea and ease the pain from the muscle cramps.
